Caroline Hwang grew up in Southern California where she earned her BFA with honors at Art Center College of Design. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. She has taught at Maryland Institute College of Arts in addition to several guest lectures. When she’s not making art or illustrating, she works on several side projects including an underground Supper Club and her series of cookbooks, Communal Table.

She has been featured in Paper Magazine, FiberArts, Bust, and Swindle Quarterly.
